Born of clay deep in this swampy grave
Sacred ground defiled by treachery
Bear the curse
Red soaked land turns dust to marshes
Battles long lost leave their markings
Warpath of fortune never to obtain
Bound to the place where your bones still lay
Those who dare to cross this land never shall return again
Wandering this place an eternity for greed’s ambition
Mine the vein
Treasured ore
Lay no claim
Conceived through steam and rust
Soulless globs house blighted remains
Churning out my loyal minions
Tainted land cries out for vengeance
(Orichalcum)
Prepare the fire
(Orichalcum)
Resistance is weakened
(Orichalcum)
Cracking the dried shell
(Orichalcum)
Delivered from limbo’s noose
Bring me their heads
Fuel the machine
Grinding meat
Slave to demand
Those who dare to cross this land never shall return again
Wandering this place an eternity for greed’s ambition
Catchy guitar harmonies. Awesome drumming and tight bass licks. Angriest vocals ever. This album is like a punch in the back of the head when you least expect it. Dethlehem
Power metal masters, this album from Lords of the Trident will fill your ears with epic tales that will make you want to buy a sword and raise it to the sky! Dethlehem
Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
